Spencer is responsible for all sales activity for Falcon Analytical worldwide, including direct sales, as well as sales through Falcon contract representatives and distribution partners. Spencer is also chiefly responsible for developing and coordinating training activities for all Falcon sales representatives. Spencer had previously served Falcon as Area Sales Manager for Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Ken Melda

Ken Melda

Chromatography Operations Manager

Ken comes to Falcon with over three decades of technical and management experience in gas chromatography. Ken holds a Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University, specializing in Capillary Gas Chromatography. Ken has served as an Application Engineer, Application Engineering Manager, Application Engineering Lab Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Senior Research Application Engineer.

He has also worked in customer sales, service and marketing product support. Prior to joining Falcon, Ken served 31 years at Combustion Engineering and ABB Process Analytics.

Joe's experience in chemical, process and general engineering have significantly enhanced Falcon's applications engineering program. His work is highly regarded and appreciated by Falcon customers.

Rod brings over 40 years of marketing communications experience to Falcon Analytical, including 27 years of gas chromatography marketing. Rod has been with Falcon from the beginning, helping to name the company and developing the branding for the CALIDUS GC and PALARUS GC Autosampler.

Matt came to Falcon with a BS in Biology from Virginia Tech and he has added graduate studies in Biometric Systems at West Virginia University to his academic portfolio.

Matt is focused primarily on customer application demonstrations and methods development. Matt's work in these disciplines is a significant asset in Falcon's service portfolio.

Lauran has responsibilities in general administration, marketing, sales and support functions, as well as in accounting and purchasing coordination for Falcon. She also provides coordination assistance in internal operations and customer support activities.

Lauran holds a BBA in International Business, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Russian. Lauran's training is an important asset as Falcon's business base is international and financial-exchange considerations are often a matter of concern.

Derrick has nearly 16 years experience in method development and optimization for a range of analytical technologies.

Prior to joining Falcon, Derrick benefitted from extensive service to SGS Environment, Health and Safety, where he served in several roles, including Semi-Volatile Instrumentation Manager, HR-GC/HR-MS Group Manager, and as a GC/GC-MS/HR-GC/HR-MS Analyst.

George Schreiner

CEO, Chromperfect Software

George is not directly employed by Falcon, but his contributions are so integrated into Falcon Analytical product that we included him here. Georges Chromperfect software provides the command and control, data processing and reporting functions, instrumental to the success of the CALIDUS GC.

Prior to his service at Chromperfect Software, George served in Analytical Research at Novartis and as Director of Laboratories at Siegfried, Ltd. USA.

While Brian is not directly employed by Falcon, his contributions and his efforts are so integrated into the Falcon Analytical customer service model that we included him here. Brians InfoMetrix LineUp software plays an integral role in the data reporting and reliability success of the CALIDUS GC.
